Project Manager,Gender and Training - Care


Project Manager-Gender & Training
(1 position; based in Bogra)

Job Summary: The Project Manager (Gender & Training) is overall responsible for gender equality and empowerment of women through mainstreaming gender issues at all phases of the project cycle (capacity building, activity planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation). S/he will lead and operationalize gender mainstreaming and capacity building strategies of the project, develop gender inclusive monitoring framework and support to effective functioning of monitoring mechanism.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • MA in Social Science or in any disciplines if accompanied by excellent experience.
  • 5 years proven knowledge/experience in gender and women empowerment and rural agribusiness, livestock & market development related project
  • In depth knowledge on application of gender and diversity issues especially in training
  • Proficiency in computer skills especially MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and e-mail software
  • Relevant training and facilitation skill
  • Good command over written and spoken English and documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Commitment to work with rural poor men and women
  • Willing to travel to different regions frequently
Compensation: Gross Salary for the position is Tk. 45,000 per month, plus other admissible benefits as per organizational policy.
