Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily technical operations of the Chemical & Fiber Laboratory to ensure the integrity of testing, and needed lab efficiency

  • Solid experience in chemical testing using AAS, ICP and other analytical instruments
  • Familiar with Fiber analysis regulation is preferred
  • Sound knowledge in US and Canadian and or other international testing specifications is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers are necessary
  • Proficiency in written and spoken EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

Requirements:

  • The ideal person should have Master degree in preferably in Business Administration/ Economics/ Social Science/ Statistics/ Geography/ Engineering with 8-10 years working experience in leading position of program implementation, preferably with a Development Organization, working with low income people;
  • Fundamental understanding of low cost housing techniques;
  • Experience in developing short and long term projects and ensure project management cycle;
  • Should be capable of leading and managing a wide range of team;
  • Should have sound knowledge in strategic decision making;
  • Good command on Planning, Budgeting, implementing, monitoring and evaluation
  • Advance skills in MS Office software;
  • Bilingual; able to speak and write both English & Bengali;
