FLYING ADMINISTRATOR: ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM (ACF)

ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM (ACF) is a non-Governmental, non-political, neutral and non-profit international organisation (INGO) that was created in France in 1979 to deliver aid in countries throughout the world. Since 2007, ACF has been providing assistance to vulnerable populations in Bangladesh in the medical, nutrition, mental health, food security, and water and sanitation fields.

ACF is looking for qualified candidate for the position of: FLYING ADMINISTRATOR

GENERAL ASSIGNMENT:

To ensure reducing risk on donor’s contracts and risk of non-compliance with Bangladesh laws and support and train local administrators..

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •     Control the adherence of ACF Internal administrative procedures, Bangladesh law and donors administrative procedures on the bases and Dhaka according to the audit planning.

  •     Following standard Audit visit procedures to avoid any suspicion or contestation from admin bases.

  •     Prepare, send and explain the field visit control report to admin coordinator with recommendations.
  •     In case of serious misuse or corruption suspicions refer immediately to admin coordinator
  •     Organise in site ,or in Dhaka, trainings for newly recruited base administrators
  •     Organise trainings on based on weak points highlighted by the audit or new changes in ACF, Donors or Bangladesh Govt policies.
  •     In case of opening of a base or gap between two administrators, take the responsibility of the administration of the base for a period no longer than 3 weeks.
  •     In case of unusual increase of the workload on one base or in capital, support the teams as defined by Admin Co.
  •     Follow up the changes in Taxes and VAT laws in Bangladesh
  •     Liaise with other NGO administrative staff to share experiences and updates

DEGREE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  •     MBA major in Finance/Masters in Accountancy/CA-P1/ICMA/Audit
  •     Extensive experience (at least 5 years) in financial Management, Internal Audit.

Required skills:

    High level in MS Excel– Meticulous– Management skills – Very good knowledge of English-Confidentiality

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

  •     Monthly Salary : 85,700 BDT
  •     Other benefits: As per ACF policy
