Administration Officer:Katalyst

Katalyst is a pro-poor market development project, under the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) implemented by Swisscontact and GIZ IS. The project is jointly funded by SDC, UKAID, CIDA and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Finance & Admin Group of Katalyst is looking for a dynamic, independent, sincere and hardworking professional who has the vision to contribute to the economic growth of Bangladesh.
Position: Administration Officer

Number of Vacanciy: 01

Work Experience:
  •     Minimum 05 years professional experience in private or development sector.
  •     Having experience in handling international and domestic travel (including processing of visa) and fixed asset is mandatory.

Major functions and responsibilities include but is not limited to:
  •     Organise international and domestic air ticket and visa
  •     Maintain air ticket register (international and domestic)
  •     Process bills submitted by travel agent
  •     Assist in international hotel booking
  •     Conduct physical inventory of fixed assets twice a year
  •     Update and maintain asset register
  •     Responsible for asset insurance
  •     Assist in disposal of office items
  •     Act as a back up for other administrative works (event management, bill processing, logistics, etc)

Academic Quality and Competencies:
  •     Graduate from reputed University/Educational Institute (Education and training in Administration will be an added  advantage)
  •     Good communication and negotiation skills (both English and Bangla)
  •     Good computer skills (especially in MS word and excel)
  •     Proactive and responsible
  •     Able to make informed decisions and work under pressure
  •     Results oriented and a team player
