Front Desk Supervisor: Long Beach Hotel

Job Title:  Front Desk Supervisor
No. of vacancy: Two

OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

Directly supervise all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all Front office duties. Direct, coordinate and manage the activities of the front desk, reservation, Guest relations, concierge, transportation and telephone etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Completely aware of hotel facilities and services.
  • Manage check-in, check-out, billing, information-flow, resolve complaint.
  • Advise on local tourist attractions.
  • Develop the reception team in support of the Front Office Manager.
  • All other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least 3 years working experience in supervisory position in any 4 - 5-star hotel.
  • Pleasant personality, good looking.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, hotel management, business or a relevant field.
  • A team player, smart, can handle cash transactions, with leadership skills, driving for results.
  • Expert in using of software for reservation, i.e. Opera, IDS, ICS etc
  • Proficient in English both in oral and written English language.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
