Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for assisting to identify action research issues in designing research/studies and planning, data collection from the field, data transcription, and preliminary data analysis. S/he will liaise closely with the monitoring and evaluation team, SC contacts and other local/national stakeholders, prepare monthly and quarterly summary report. The major roles of Research Officer is to carry out research on economic, social and other issues including providing research inputs for the designing, and analysis required for the development, implementation, review and evaluation of SHIREE project relevant interventions & policy advocacy and research documentation.

Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Development Studies/Anthropology/Economic/Statistics, at least three years relevant working experiences. S/he should have sound knowledge and skills on participatory methods and tools, understanding on data collection tools & techniques and research methodologies. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal communication skill, excellent verbal and written skills both in Bangla & English, analytical abilities and high level of computer proficiency, especially in SPSS, Word, and Excel.
