Project Manager – SHIREE Jobs at Save The Children Bangaldesh

Responsibilities:
The position will be responsible to manage and deliver set outputs of Shiree project and provide technical support for capacity building, monitoring of partner NGO activities, including budget & regular progress reflections and reporting. S/he is responsible for preparing/reviewing annual/quarterly work plan, developing M&E plan in line with the project log frame, data cleaning, analysis and reviewing partner NGO’s work plan, setting targets including measurable indicators for progress reporting. The incumbent will have to prepare and review of project budget, variance analysis and support to validation of budget spending against the activities on a monthly/quarterly basis, conduct/organize training and orientation of partner NGO according to the project implementation guidelines. The Manager will focus on to provide inputs for preparing /reviewing log frame, annual plans on country’s livelihood and food security theme and related programs focusing urban issues around social protection, food security, nutrition, health, education and vocational training.


Requirements:
Masters Degree in Economics/Development Studies/International Relations/Social Science with at least six years experience in livelihoods, food security, nutrition related project activities and three years in management position. S/he should have clear understanding on project cycle management, monitoring and evaluation, research methods, livelihoods, food security and nutrition frameworks & approaches. S/he should have proven track record of health, urban poverty and related issues specific to Bangladesh context, issues around childhood poverty, children’s well being, social protection, research and studies, advocacy etc. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, understanding on the qualitative research methodology, good people management & financial management skills, capacity development, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to write better reports.
